Most modern smart devices now allow you to read Near Field Communications (NFC) which contains information about TravelMaster products which can be downloaded onto a compatible Smartcard.
Before purchasing a product on a smart device you must check that:
- Your device is NFC capable and that you can locate your NFC reader/antenna.
- Your NFC is activated on your device and you have the smartcard you want to connect to.
- Your device is engaged, and the screen is unlocked. Otherwise the device may not read the NFC tag or receive data.
- Your smartcard is close to the device when updating your product.
Customers are responsible for ensuring device has a compatible NFC antenna on a smartphone or tablet as you may not be able to obtain a refund if you don’t.
iPhone devices:
All iPhones require iOS 13.0 or later.
Compatible with iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
iPhone NFC readers are found on the front of the devices. Simply place the smartcard close to the top of the screen.
Samsung devices:

Sony Xperia devices:
Sony Xperia devices have a wireless technology range of one centimetre, so your TravelMaster smartcard must be held close to your smart device.
The NFC detection area is located on the front of the device. Hold your device close to another device or an NFC reader so that the NFC detection areas touch.
NFC readers contain an N-Mark on the back the official symbol indicating that the device is NFC-enabled.

Google Pixel Devices:
